CloudDesk is an online desktop made for multi-tasking, with multiple useful tools. It has a modern look, and the power of the latest codes used for web development. It's by ~dakoder and =ntim007.
Develop apps for CloudDesk!
Heres what we have done since v4 :
- Design
>> Completely new design inspired by Google Chromium OS
* Sidebar has been removed
* There is now a taskbar
* The app launcher now shows a grid view of icons (Can be changed in settings)
* Settings has been moved to it's own panel
* Running apps show on the taskbar
* And much more!
>> Some UI fixes for IE 9
>> Full (except rounded corners) IE 8 support
- Updated Apps
>> Google Search by ~simobortolo v1.6
>> Google Mabs by ~simobortolo v1.6
- Page speed improvements :
>> Decreased by 15 seconds
>> Compressed all images (with still same quality)
>> The widgets now load after clicking it's launcher
>> Images will be cached for one week (so it doesn't load over and over when you visit the page for one week)
- Other
>> New about widget
>> No more report bugs button because we received some people writing weird stuff, it has been replaced by an about button
>> New icon (you might have already seen it)
>> New grid/list view setting
- Script Fixes
>>Date n time auto updates
>>New window collapse animation
- Some bug fixes

v6.0 came out yesterday! It now supports touch, and much more!

Wow, the new UI is really nice! Though maybe the windowbar could only have the window on top underlined instead of all that are open.

You just read my mind . I'll work on it. Small versions, such as "5.1" are always silent, so you have to watch for them. Actually, I will probably write about it in my Daily Journal.

BTW the new Galaxy OS has 2 more apps and a new icon theme (Plex by ~Cornmanthe3rd used with permission)!

KK. I would say they should have a minimise button but in reality it would just be the same as close since the windows only hide.

it's not the same, when you click the app on the launcher, it loads/reloads the app.
Same thing in a real os. But the minimize button isn't really needed.
