Couple questions though. I'm assuming the lens was at 1:1 (right?)and you're using the 500d, What closeup filter did you use? was it +1, +2, +4, +10??? What brand? Thanks a bundle, and keep up the great work!!!

Actually for that shot I'm not even close to life size, and I think the 500D is rated as a +2. I was just using the closeup filter for that shot because I like the bokeh that I get with it -much better than just using the bare lens.
If you don't get Canon's 500D then pick up a diopter made by Raynox -I've heard that it's a good brand. Avoid cheap diopters -you get what you pay for...

I've always heard them called Haystack Butterflies.
