Description Shot at four times life size with a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens.

I trapped this little guy under a glass and put a piece of blue construction paper under it. Once he calmed down I removed the glass and positioned the paper so that the moth was right on the edge of my kitchen counter. I then sat on the floor and shot the critter while looking up at it to get this angle.

Moths always look like they are covered in feathers at high mag, and butterflies are covered in hair
