Description
This is something I've been wanting to try for a while - a straight recreation (as opposed to the mash-up cover recreations I've done in the past) of the cover of one of the comics that helped change me into a comic fan as a kid.In this case, Dazzler #8.
The original cover was created by Bill Sienkiewicz and Klaus janson, copyright Marvel Comics.
Here is the original cover: static.comicvine.com/uploads/sβ¦

Thanks!Β I don't have zip-a-tone (as was used in the original art), so I do my best to fake it.

Loved this cover. The whole series actually. Kind of a comic book guilty pleasure. Nice work once again sir!

Me too, probably because they were always in the 8 for $1 bin at shows in the 1980s.Β
Thanks!

He did a bunch of covers for Dazzler early on, even before he started doing all the painted ones.Β The book had it's share of nice cover art, although the interiors were kind of meh.

Interesting to see you tackle this loose style! You are indeed a skilled gentleman!
