Description
and I are back with another slightly off-kilter genre story. This time, it's pirates! We're operating slightly differently on this one - Larry pulled a Harvey Kurtzman, providing not only the story & script, but the page layout. It's going to be a treat for me, because it's less work!
This is the FINAL page of this story - with an homage to Hokusai in the top panel, for those eagle-eyed art historians out there...
Hope you enjoy!

Lovely page and I like the Hokasai touch, I stole it once for a commercial job, a cartoon of a surfer! I shall look forward to the SF yarn.

I hope your fingers can forgive me. But you have produced some of your finest work on this story.Β
That studying sounds like some fun, you lucky dog that you got one of those artists editions. I am just glad I got those Gemstone collections.Β
It is a pleasure to work with you on these projects, testing the limits of our creativity, it's such a blast.Β

As soon as I heard about that Wood edition, I pounced!Β Β Although they're now reprinting several of them 'by popular demand..'.Β So much for exclusivity!Β

This truly classic art makes me think of the glory days of Eerie and other great zines, where they had short comics with a sting in the tale!
