oh I'm so loving this page. Like always, the acting is superb and I'm still trying to get my hatching to be as well thought out and pristine. Did you ever do a value sketch before rendering or do you just go into it full bore?

Thank you so much!

Before I start each panel, it's just the contour lines and then I sketch in a few rough pencil hatches in where I know I'm going to want to put shadows. Then I just kind of start building them up.

Thank you, Diego! I only wish I could get away with such behavior!

We need to keep on trying until the world obeys!

Top right panel = I think i just injured myself laughing. I love how out there the scenarios are, yet I still feel like I've met the characters before...

Thanks a lot! The majority of the characters get most of their depth from being shamelessly based on our happy hour crew.

Haha, fair enough--all mine are based on my high school friends...which is why I post them on the internet instead of sharing them with people I actually know...

Great page, Chris. That last panel is superb.

I love the details, right down to the dead (undead?) guy's gnarly toes.

Thanks, Zac! I know I'll never be a foot fetishist, myself.

Oooh, I do like the zombie beer barf skull. Nice, subtle touch. The various facial expressions of disgust are quite convincing!

Thanks! That's kind of been my semi-trademark, lots of skull-y liquids in this comic.

Beautiful! Unfortunately that's pretty much how I look in the morning, except older and fatter!

Another excellent page of inks! Great comedy in the script too!

PS
I haven't forgot about my promise to send you some zines, it will happen very soon!

No problem!

Thanks, the dialogue on this (and the next couple of pages) is actually pretty well true-to-life of the guys these characters are based on.

Great way to start a Sunday night, new Chris K. artwork!

I have known people this dense. Great detail as always with the background, and facial characteristics are as always, stunning.

Thank you, sir! I'm hoping to ramp up this sequence one page a week if I can, since I have 3 pages of script in hand for once!

The funny thing is that this guy's not really that dense, it's that his partner typically gets *that* drunk. (although, one would think the zombie-beer-barf on the sheets in the shape of a skull would be a giveaway that something isn't kosher.... )

You are very welcome, and I feel dense now for not seeing the skull. You pulled some "Black Freighter" shit didn't you.

Good luck with speeding up the art process, glad to hear that you are looking forward to doing more, I am always up for seeing more of your work.

Well, I meant the guy holding the bucket, not *you*.

I'm looking forward to seeing your hand-drawn stuff you mentioned today.

Oh I know you meant the guy with the bucket, I just felt dense for not seeing it as well.

Well it shall be soon. I want to have a reserve to rely on for once. That has been a goal, and I have never attained it.
