Just have to find tires and inner tubes for the damn thing! XD

A good, solid coaster bike is almost indestructible.

I switched over to kevlar-infused tires on my road bike a few years back, haven't had a tube puncture ever since. They're amazing.

Thanks for the fave!

Kevlar, huh? I ought to look into that. I just got some panniers for my bike to turn it into a bug-out machine at a moment's notice. Better a bike than nothing.

Yep - they're a bit more expensive, but well worth it.. I hated having to pull off my rear wheel assembly out on some road/trail somewhere to patch a leak... ugh. (altho I still carry a small wrench just in case!)

So many good one liners in a single page. This is classic as an ode to the two-wheeler.

Thanks, the writer's really starting to ramp up the interplay with these two guys, hopefully it's all funny!

I like the intense manliness of the characters as well. There's testosterone in that linework, I tells ya.

Great storytelling and drawings-- I love it that you included the bike's label, neat detail.

Thanks! The writer is of Dutch ancestry, so featuring a fine Dutch model bicycle was special to him.

And it made for great visuals as well-- perfect choice all around.

I'm sure you can take out a few zombies by popping a willy or two.

Or when they see the bike Michael gets on the next page, disable them with laughter.

He makes sense. Just like machetes are better than guns, you don't have to reload, you don't have to refuel a bicycle.

MarkLedford In reply to LarryKingUndead [2011-06-06 01:47:43 +0000 UTC]

A gun will just give away your position. I wonder how a longbow would effect a zombie?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LarryKingUndead In reply to MarkLedford [2011-06-06 01:52:25 +0000 UTC]

Well the gun will alert the horde, and if they are slow, they will eventually wander your way. A longbow may be good for a lets say half a dozen of the undead, but anymore you might be out of luck since you will have to recover the bows, unless you have a infinite supply. They are quiet, and allow you to take them out with no noise, but once it's shot, you have to recover, or run.

MarkLedford In reply to LarryKingUndead [2011-06-06 02:12:57 +0000 UTC]

Yes, hmmm. Also, a bow takes alot of practice to develope the necessary skill. So maybe these guys will make some primitive shotguns out of bike parts or something. I certainly hope they get up on that shit quick!

Me, I'd go to the local ACE Hardware, or Lowes, get me some ax's, machetes, pitchforks, and the like, but most importantly, a bush axe. It's got reach, and damage capabilities.

I also think that one of the upcoming themes in the comic is going to be "bad things happen to you in a car".
