What I find fascinating and admirable about your work is how you're able to create all those greys with hatching alone. No Manga Studios for you. Sadly, such skill is becoming more rare these days.

Thanks, Larry! I was afraid this page would be 'boring' because of the lack of structural detail in their surroundings, so I used a lot of hatches for grey.
The military guy (Vern) is based on a very tough buddy of ours, so he will probably last longer than most.
