Thanks! The hammer is not specific to anyone, but it was meant to be a 'completely cumbersome but awesome in theory' type of weapon for Michael.

It does! And there's a story behind it. Daniel (the writer of this strip) owns that very hat. When I mocked him for it, he said he bought it in a town named Intercourse. There is indeed an Intercourse, Pennsylvania, at least.

I wondered if it had to do with the place name. We've got 'em beat here on the prairie; there's actually a place called "Climax, Saskatchewan"!
