Description
I started working on a new series of illustrations for new pulp publisher Airship 27 - in this case, a Weird Western entitled Silver Riders, by Greg Hatcher.In this fourth illustration: The four of them riding along the trail, Brainerd in lead, with Cheyanne right behind him, while Lisbet and Fallon ride side by side…as she questions him.

The trick is to figure out where the muscles are, draw a curved line for the lower (shadowed) side of it, then build up lines from there. Horsies have some large, broad muscles, so it's not too difficult!

Thanks! I made sure that their tails covered the rudest portions of their anatomy.
I feel that I've got a pretty good handle on figure work - backgrounds is one of the facets I'm now trying to hone.
