Ways I cut down on Linking time:1. I didn't comment on the other persons account; Just a 'You have been Linked...'
2. Since I wanted, in this case, to Link to another photograph, I made sure I categorized right down to ' Photography'.
3. Most importantly, I didn't really care to look past the first page of results. Basically, I was not picky at all about my Link.

I don't think you needed to do this because if someone wants to you TLS than it doesn't bother him/her if it takes a couple of minutes more to submit.

Well, that's actually exactly why I had to do this. There are a lot of people who have voiced their concern about how long it will take to Link. They get discouraged by that.
For the people who have been Linking like yourself, and for the people who are surely going to Link; fine.
This is for the people who believe that it might take too long to Link. I wanted to show that you can submit AND Link in less than 6 minutes!
So the people who are unsure about whether they want to try it, might be encouraged when they see that it really can take just a few minutes.

but there are many out there who are just using this as an excuse. Maybe you're right...now they have to find something else to excuse themselfs.

A voice over would really improve this to the general public... An actual voice would make it more real, personal, would hopefully diminishe the prominence of the clicking noise (which, when alone, is just... irking) - and would set a better pace to this.
It seems right now that the resources are to be read/seen all together - neither one is sufficient in itself. One has to know what the link system is to understand this.
This could be a terrific resource if you introduce the link system in the beginning, proceed to show how it's done, reiterate how little additional time to normal submission it takes, and the benefits...
And the music is very beautiful. But it's makes the process seem only longer. This is kind of pathetic (in terms of the newer generation) - but a faster energetic beat would really help drive the enthusiasm home.

You haven't looked at the other vids have you?
As for the introduction, the Linking and a quick summary: I tried it. The file size right now is scratching the surface. Voice would take it way over. The only way I could accomplish that is by decreasing the frame rate even more, and believe me it would be choppy! And I'd have to remove almost ALL the camera pans and zooms, so some of the details would get lost.
But I'm an amateur at best as far as using the application, so perhaps in the near future. Thank you for your input. I might just re-submit this with a good ol' d'n'b track!!

But most of the people know how to submit... So you don't actually need that part. You can start with your work already included, and just focus on the browsing, getting the piece, etc...
I can't think of other time savers at the moment.
