Description
The second version of "Bloodthirsty," this time with an underlying message. The predator characters are now upper-class folk in an upper-class club/bar setting, and looking quite a bit more aggressive, still drinking blood. The message is about how the upper-class preys on and takes advantage of the lowerclass (here represented by the prey species icons in the beer taps). I'm really quite happy with it.This is a new technique for me--combination acrylic and oil paint, on board, 30" long.

This is a very impressive painting filled with interesting symbolism. I love the color palette and the light blue lines behind the characters. It really has an ideal atmosphere for a bar without distracting details.
I like the wolf's face the most, he just has that kind of devilish smirk (reminded me of Quark from Star Trek actually). And the bear's "As a matter of fact"-expression is also brilliant.
My only critique would be that some of the animal's heads are too big for their bodies.

The composition of this version is better. Take both pieces together though and you realize that whether upper or lower class everyone needs to eat and as humans that means we kill a lot. Beautifully done.

I work too. I do translation jobs for companies and slackers who didn't learn on their own. Still not a luxury amount of cash, but something.
I tried to drop out and find a permanent job, but mom beat me up so I was hospitalized for two weeks and stayed at school. It kinda sucks though, as I never fit in with those dumbass teenagers. Being a dyke of bluecollar origin was not the life I've been dreaming of.

I think the thing that impresses me the most about it is how very *sharp* it looks, the details and all that. And I really like how the blue contrasts with the white (and everything around it, of course.)
