Description
The second version of "Bloodthirsty," this time with an underlying message. The predator characters are now upper-class folk in an upper-class club/bar setting, and looking quite a bit more aggressive, still drinking blood. The message is about how the upper-class preys on and takes advantage of the lowerclass (here represented by the prey species icons in the beer taps). I'm really quite happy with it.This is a new technique for me--combination acrylic and oil paint, on board, 30" long.

This is one AMAZING concept, not only that but the overal composition is great.
The colours are absolutely drool-worthy, and the way you have humanised the animalistics of each character is gorgeous. Little details like the lighting bouncing of the animals fur (and scales) is what makes this piece.
A definate fave!

Wow, once again you never cease to amaze. YAY youre back, or at least you have updated, and I hope college is going well for you too. Your art is always improving too. Woo! rock on, and I say a special hi from all the techies, even though no of them told me to, I will anyways.

I must say I enjoy the lion, wolf and crocodile figures in this piece. The crocodile with the smug expression of superiority, the lion with his arrogant smirk - reminding me of that term "young lion", as if he was just this pompus power figure, and the wolf with the squared off shoulders, sort of a warning to those of the lower classes to stay out of their society.
Wonderful symbolism in this one, great work.

Wow, that is really, really well done. All of the detail put into this is fabulous, and I love the beer taps! The tigress-lady's pose is exquisite.

Now this is something interesting! I love their expressions, and I get your message perfectly (you delivered it very well, might I add).
You made them look so real, and yet so human.

Brilliant work, though I don't 100% agree with the message, but you definitely get your point across and the workmanship is superb to boot. ^_^

This is a really awesome painting.
And the interesting thing is that if you've ever heard "Bungle in the Jungle" by Jethro Tull, it matches quite closely to the lyrics as well. (I've doodled out scenes to the song before, and the concepts were very close to this exact scene.)
Well done!

I'm especially liking this one, much more well layed out,
especially loving the wolf and how the light plays on the fur.
Wonderful job on the clothing and the scales. Well portrayed.
Maybe a little more deeper of a red for the blood 'beers'?

I have a feeling that if that lion was a people, he'd be Sean Bean.

Very interesting concept and awesome execution- I love the detail you've put into it, those beer taps are great! The increase in the intensity from Bloodlust 1 has won me over. Awesome work!

Yeah, I like this one better too. I like the alteration of the scene, and the message is very clear without shouting "hey this is what the art means!" And the electric blue backdrop is very classy addition and shows off all the colorations very well.

People can play " Dress-up " with animals like a Standard Poodle and it just looks stupid
but this is just pure CLASS
Mankind can cage a tiger and even display Wolves in a fancy Zoo !
but they will never Tame The predator within.
GREAT Artwork .... and the format is so perfect.
best wishes
Carl
