Description
This is the start of a rather ambitious project dealing with a very old favorite game of mine titled 'Descent' the details are still up in the air, I'm pretty much just winging it and seeing where it goes.Time taken so far is probably a good solid 20 or so hours. Rendering done in 3dsmax 9.0 using mental ray

Nice! But, I always thought the door edges would be a bit sharp!
but ya! for an airtight seal, I guess they would have to fit similar to how you made them!

Yeah this was a REALLY early render from way back before I really knew much about anything lol. It was nice for what it was but I look at that poc-marked ground and die a little inside

not really sure how I missed this comment, but to answer your question: It's could be..." mainly it was a test render to see what I could do with it...I've been working on and off with various Descent-ish stuff for a number of years and I'd really love to do a professional quality animation about it.
