I like this one, but the second I saw the title in the new deviations section of my messagesite I had that feeling, that I've already seen this piece. And seeing the actual picture even amplifies that feeling. Didn't you already post that one, or is that a new version of the same theme?

I, for one, like the colors you chose in this piece. Yes, they look story-bookish, but the yellow gives it a feeling of warmth that it would not have had you opted for aqua. The yellow makes it more peaceful, and frankly, I like that it resembles something you might see in a children's book. Very professionally done.

I absolutely love it, it looks like something Dave McKean might do (www.davemckean.com) but a suggestion, make the stars and moon look more realistic..but color them a different color, a nice #3AC1DE aqua color. The stars and moon look like something out of a nursery rhyme and (I think) ruin the mood of the rest of the piece

Favorite !! I love the way you created this image....wonderful
use of colors that seem so dreamy. And each object seems
to be left just a little unfinished or ragged ( in a soft way ) the
way you would see things in a dream. The idea is so beau-
tiful: that something wonderful can show up at your doorstep
without you even wishing for it ( or maybe because you did ).
And I love the way there is a soft glowing light shining thru the
window....that kind of lead the "ship" to that particular house.
Makes me think that one has to be open to inspiration, to wel-
come it, to be looking for it for it to show up. s
Laurie
