dan-heron — The Corus back in color

Well, what can I say? I can’t be away from DA or drawing and cgi’ing for long XDThis is a part of another piccu I did. And if some of you remember, this is my colored version of the Corús, Link’s family. From left to right:
Kado (aka Shadow Link)
Ari (Link’s sister)
Tonalli (their adoptive sister)
Link (good Hero boy)
I tried some more smooth colors even tough the lineart remained pretty much the same since the original, you know, sketchy X3
You may notice that I put it in fanart section instead of anime, well, I would normally put in under anime but I drew the Triforce, Farore’s symbol and the Sheika eye, so I think that qualifies as fanart or something ^w^;;

This is very good and more than worthy of becoming a favorite. This picture now makes me want to play Zelda more, and draw Ganondorf's family.

Colors look really good here, the lightsource overhead is a nice touch.

Only gripe here is that Link's wrist look like it broke...he might wanna get that checked...

Si me gustaba la versión en blanco y negro, la versión coloreada ya es simplemente perfecta XD Me encanta ese sombrado que le has hecho, con la luz colándose entre las hojas, es estupendo! la sensación de estar bajo un árbol es muy real, y con todos los eprsonajes mirándote... me parece como si estuviera ahí de verdad XD un trabajo genial!

I really like this, the angle is brilliant, as are the expressions and the BG, i really like how the eyes look in this, X3 ari rules. And so does kado, XD actually, Kado is my favourite *dance* He looks so uber. X3 I love the light peeking through the leaves, especially in the leaf shape on links face.

Creo que hablar de las maravillas del CGI y del BG son más que inecesarias, pero realmente creo que se debe mencionar que tan genial esta el sombreado en formas, es muy realista y esta muy bien hecho! Otro Gran Trabajo Dan! :3

Oh this is soo pretty. o.o The coloring and poses seem so natural. I love art that has more of a personality to it and this has so much, I can't quite pin-point what it is, but I know I REALLY like it. I love how you had the sun shine through the tree they are under and how you made the shadows make that apparent. One gorgeous piece.

Cool... that's some pretty nice colouring, although some of the light shining on them looks leaf-shaped... as if the leaves happened to form 'negative' leaf shapes... or something. Anyway... it still looks really nice... good colour choices and stuffs. Fun pic too
