Description
A freighter landed on some desert planet. I wasn't thrilled with the level of detail on the forklifts (I had since updated them for the Ice Base picture). The hoses were an interesting experience, and I'm really happy with how they came out.Made in Blender 3D.
Hopefully you all like the work!

It will be interesting to see what can be done with immersive artwork within the new phase of VR that seams to be popping up.

There was a bit on the radio I heard about a guy who's trying to make entire feature length movies using technology like Oculus Rift.Β It'd be extremely interesting to see, I suppose.

That was one of the first things that popped into my head and when you see things like the tech demos for Unreal Engine 4 its clear how VR animation like that is quite possible. Whole new media market is opening up

Yeah, the Nameless Freighter is quite a beauty, I think.Β I should go about building an interior for her one of these days.
Thanks, Pinarci!Β Hope you're doing well!

I love the set, how impressive and realistic it is. The shape of that roof makes a great framing to your scene, the far background feel very real, and well done for the surface of your ship!

Great idea!
The structure kinda reminds me of Berlin's old Tempelhof airport:

Hey! You're right, it does kind of. I don't remember where I got the idea...I think I saw a painting somewhere and thought it would look cool as a spaceport or something.

.... looks like a lot of work. you have balanced much, with good results. dont mind spaceships, my favorite are saucers!
i like the way you have incorporated aspects of scenery and foreground-activity, to arrive-at extremely-balanced whole! very clever. well done

Thank you! I'm glad people like this stuff. Always was a fan of spaceships, and it's nice to see others are too.
