My most recent portrait. Another GSD.
I'm pretty pleased with this one. Still some mistakes but, overall, nice. I think the eyes turned out especially well this time.Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Artagain paper.

I think he could use a little more contrast in the dark parts of his fur, but overall, nice job!

It's tough. The reference photos I had were all solid black in the shadowed areas. The profile views I had weren't 100% clear on WHAT was actually in those areas. So I has to sort of make it up. I kept it darker to hide any mistakes I might be making.
