Creature exchange for Asianfishy !

Betta fish are one of my favourite water dwellers so this was a fun design to make ^^

1. What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

The prompt was very open-ended and allowed a lot of freedom - probably the most I've ever had with a prompt lol. Very concise and easy to understand!

2. Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

I went with the mermaid/betta fish combo and gave it some features that would help it lure in prey. Its appearance seems relatively harmless but this mermaid is 100% carnivore and eats anything it can fit in its mouth. The horns can glow to lure in fish (or divers) and it uses its sharp tongue to inject a paralysing agent. It also wears accessories because sure why not. For the colour palette I was allowed to use any colours I wanted, so I took one that I liked from a betta fish and used it.
