ABOUT
Milesian dragons (literally translated as "from the stars") are believed to be creatures who had descended from the stars long ago, hence their name. At one time, they were very common in Elavernis, and it was considered to be good luck to see one.
As hatchlings, Milesian Dragons possess very small wings and well-developed forelegs. As they age, their wings develop and become more muscular, while their forelimbs disappear in exchange. Scientists were unsure what to classify this species as due to having the traits of a dragon at birth, but the traits of a wyvern at adulthood. Therefore, they have been deemed as pseudo-dragons (false dragons).
They have bio luminescent scales that glow during the night. Due to this, people often mistake them as shooting stars or comets when they fly, which is also their primary method of camouflage.
They are coveted by warriors and members of the military for their exemplary strength and loyalty, as well as the fact that they can be mounted for combat. They are capable of breathing fire as a last resort, but this ability can become unusable if their hydrogen pouches are damaged. (They produce hydrogen through digestion and light it by grinding their teeth and producing sparks).
However, after the event of the black sun, the Milesian Dragon population has dwindled nearly to none, as they are being constantly hunted by sunspawn due to their scales, which make them easily seen while resting during the night.
Currently, re-population efforts are taking place in Elavernis where Milesians dragons are being bred and available for adoption to citizens, or released back into the wild under special protection.

Yeah, they can... since they created the creatures, they have perfect right to control them It's the same as drawing or using other people's characters - you have to have permission first.

Do you mean the adoption policy? I-If you do, it's because we want them to have good, responsible owners who'll take care of them ;7;

Hmmm... well they'll be fine with staying outside and guarding the temple or something, and they don't reach full size until they're a few decades old xD
