Took a short break from the tibu sketches. Had to get this out of my system.So, if some of you don't already know, i am genderqueer, or genderfluid.
My sex is female, but my gender is both male and female.
And yes, i consider sex and gender two different things.
This picture is a little bit of a rant? Kinda? I just wanted to get this out somehow.
I've just started college, and I'm still adjusting to campus life, and dorm life, and all of the different people around me.
And while CMU is a very LGBT friendly school, I've hit one big problem, and that is how awkward i am about my gender and orientation, because its so complicated. Even for me, while i'm still trying to figure it all out.
I've only managed to tell one of three roommates that i like women, but nothing about my gender or whatever. I'm just a little nervous about how they, and others, might react. I don't like being ostracized. I'm in a new place, surrounded by people i dont know and its just a little bit scary. It's just kinda been weighing me down a little i guess.
I have a little hope for tomorrow though. CMU's Spectrum Club is having a meeting, and I'm going!
I'm so excited it isn't even funny. I hope i make some friends pfff-- ; v ;

yeah, I feel for you.... that's exactly how I feel too about my gender, and I am slowly learning to accept and love myself like this. I'm pretty confident to myself about it, but it is still really difficult for me because my family is like really religious, and I don't know how my parents would react at my telling them I'm a bisexual genderqueer OTL So yeaaah, I just hope everything gets better once I start uni (only one year to go yaaaay~)
