If you didn't draw the picture, and don't have permission to the person who drew it to post it....DON'T POST IT!If all you had to do was press prnt screen on a youtube video...DON'T POST IT!
If all you had to do was erase someone's water mark...DON'T POST IT!
If its a picture you found on google and the only work you did was save it too your folder...DON'T POST IT!
If all you had to do was fill bucket on an already drawn picture that you did not get permission to post...DON'T POST IT!
If its a gif file of a tv show you didn't create/write/film/star in...DON'T POST IT!
Am I missing something?

I hate "renders" for that reason (well, that and the fact that so many render "artists" think they're just as much of an artist as the person who originally created the image that they stole and "rendered"). I hate them with the fire of a thousand suns.

I once had a really old piece of my Harry Potter fanart stolen and posted here on dA. When I confronted the artist about it and asked her to remove the picture, her little friend called me a "fucking lier [sic]" and said "I watched her draw it!"
I responded with "Really? I'd like to know how that's possible since I have the original drawing in my filing cabinet and originally posted it to Artistic Alley when you and your friend were eight years old."
I magically never heard from the thief or her "friend" again.

Agreed on all counts. In fact, I think it's wrong to post things you didn't make even with permission (i.e. "my friend took this picture but said it was okay to post it" or - my favorite - "I found it on facebook and the original poster said it was okay to repost" - most of the time the OP doesn't own it either!). If YOU didn't make it, it shouldn't go on YOUR dA page, the only and obvious exception being pictures taken by someone else that feature you or something created by you as a subject.
This is one of my pet peeves on dA and it always makes me so mad to see people do this. Especially when they whore their deviations out to every group they can find that will accept them, looking for faves for something they didn't make.

You missed the deletion of emotes/deactivation of accounts holding emotes and people putting them back up to rehost as a courtesy to others so they don't get a failed code or dead thumb in chat.
