Todd arrived to class just as Mr. Davis lowered the lights. He quickly took a seat as his teacher explained:

"I've got a meeting to run to for a few minutes. I want you all to watch this instructional video about the honey badger while I'm gone. Be right back."

Todd facepalmed as he realized he had taken a seat behind Mary. Her abundant red hair was neatly plaited in a braid as thick as her arm. The braid had been wound into a massive bun the size of a melon. Todd examined the sight in front of him. It took up almost his whole view of the film at the front of the class.

Held in place by a couple of pencils, Mary's bun fascinated him. How could one person have so much hair? How does her neck support it all? It must have weighed a ton.

Looking around, Todd noticed that the remaining seats in the room were taken up in equal measure by students either transfixed at the movie or dozing away. How was he going to see anything with all that hair in the way?
