Maybe it was the darkness of the classroom; his peers were either diverted by the screen in front of them, or taking advantage of the lack of light to doze. Mary appeared to be in the latter category. Well, Todd wasn't going to let her hair be an obstacle this time. He decided to take matters into his own hands.He reached out and slid the pencils that held Mary's giant bun loose. The twisted braid unwound itself and landed with a soft thud into a pile on his desk. Todd waited for her to turn around angrily. He'd give her a piece of his mind...But she hadn't noticed.
Well, all right then. At least he could watch the video in peace now.
