Description
As soon as Todd saw the scissors lying on the desk next to him, he knew what had to be done. He was no longer himself, it seemed. The loosening of Mary's braid had increased the influence of the whisperings in his mind, as if some force outside himself had grown in power. But it needed that hair cut in order to realize some unknown, larger purpose.In the back of his mind, Todd could almost see it. A presence that had arranged to manipulate a room full of high school kids, had clouded their minds to not pay attention to the fact that one of them had completely taken down and lay bare an elaborate braided bun of a girl in front of him. Had clouded the mind of that same girl to not feel the weight of her hair being shifted and violated. And that presence had arranged for someone to leave a sharp pair of scissors within reach.
At the sight of them, Todd's momentary revelation vanished, replaced only by a whispered need to feel the crunch of hair between the blades. He reached over and took hold of the scissors...

Also, would it be a good guess that the reason the colors in this one seem a bit muted and dim is due to the presence of that dark, shadow-thing behind todd? An that said shadow-thing is whats influencing him to commit the impending act of horrific destruction?

Actually it was because I forgot to bring the layer opacity back to 100% before saving it, but let's go with that! Good eye spotting the bad guy!

well, assuming she's one of the heroines of this ongoing story thing, i think she'll have some way to counter the situation, who knows, if her Β hair is magic, maybe it can't be cut by ordinary scissors (hopefully)
