I've been meaning to do this for a while! July has been a little quieter so far, so I finally had some time and energy for it. More info about commissions is available HERE , but I like to think this graphic nicely summarizes the essentials. Feedback is welcome.

Image-Based StorytellingI was communicating with a potential commissioner recently about options for an image serial. I told them that I basically have three options for telling a story with visuals. It occurred to me that is would be good to share this (and get comments and feedback). This might be handy whether you're a fellow artist or commissioner, or even just an interested fan.
1) Illustrated Story
Format: A series of images without any text/dialogue in the image. The story is told in the text area below the image.
Example: Storm Warning
Advantages: Fewer images required to tell the story. Emphasis on writing allows for description of events that may be difficult (or expensive) to portray visually. Relatively easy to plan out compared to other formats. Best choice for including long text descriptions or dialogue.Β Allows for the mos

So, what is the difference between pin-up and character creation?

Oh of course! That's the whole idea. But if I haven't already created the character, then I have to do so, and once created, I can then use that character in images.

Ah, so our first time getting you to do our OCs would have to be a character creation, and then any of them afterwards would be pin-ups.
