It's a hard and memorable scene after all. You catched the moment and the expression very well.
I can really feel his pain.

And still he didn't become an "engine of pure hate", like Maul...

That is what made Vader a more effective villain; even as a cyborg, he still had deep, strong emotions inside. Plus, his tragedy is one to behold. Darth Maul had always been an animal, a tool of the Sith.

I would not tell Maul was an animal. He was an assassin. Like ninja!

Still, he wasn't that appealing of a villain to me; he came off as a boss battle villain (even though that duel in TPM was awesome!)

I'm afraid of fire and like it at one time. There was a time in my life when I considered fire as my personal element, and then I was not afraid of heat O.o I felt nice when it was +40 outside.

Wow,that was useful! Considering how summers were hot here before couple of yers.I can stand fire just when i'm sure it can't reach me.In fact, what's more unpleasant for me is heat...But soft warmth in summers and autumns

Some people of course are speaking about some pop crap, but I usually turn them to SW fans or anime fans ^^ I don't know how I manage to do it, but I do! When I was at the 1st grade of the univercity I made the whole group watch SW! And not together, they did it at home! By their own will XD almost XD

My Mom watched only several scenes of the EpIV and she loves Chewbacca! And my Granny likes Yoda (because he looks like Gollum and she likes Gollum), but she falls asleep every time she sees a Star Destroyer! Lol!
And my Dad is the one who made me watch Star Wars, but he likes Obi-Wan

My father also likes Obi-Wan and all Jedi...Tipical for dadsI guess.Hmmm...a lot of ppl likes Obi-Wan in fact.I don't for what he did to Vader. That was cruel, selfish and cowardish. He rather left him suffer than to make himself kill him.
Mom's favourits are Han,Chewbacca and Yoda because of his funny ears.
Haha, your granny isn't imperial, obviously

Yeah, just how heroic can a hero be? And any dark secrets will ruin the whole image. They still can have a tragic past that made them think about doing good, btw.

Good point, my friend.Yes heroes don't have to be so heroic in fact-it can be just their public face.God knows what they can do in their "sparetime"They can be villains in fact.
Yea, or this too,I totally forgot. That's interesting. One usually ask what made villains to be villains but question what made heroes to be heroes isn't that famous.

It is.One would say it's typical and understandable start for villain. The difference is he had different approach and simply dealt with things different way than the one leading to villainity.Good job, definitely.
