Yeah I know this did come out really good,
I'm just about there with the photography.

Yes Sir. Sure Did. Made it from start to finish.
I started out with a raw rock, percussioned it down,
and hand chipped it. It's locally collected obsidian - Black Translucent.

Very nice. Ive tried knapping b4 and all i did was hurt myself. xD whats the binding? kinda has a plastic look to it

hhah, yah, i've cut myself up so many damn times.
Like stitches needed times, blood dripping/squirting
out times. hah.
That top layer is black sinew, coated in clear 5 minute
epoxy. It gives it that gloss layered looked. Looks nice
and has a hard cover.

Yeah. I didnt have the patience or pain threshhold to finish my attempt. Ended up taking a sharp triangular flake of flint that broke and took a file to make teh grooves. lol
