The story is REALLY coming along on this comic, I have like 5 different Word files trying to organize all the character arcs, world info, etc. I'm really anxious to get started!Anyway I've still been trying to hone in on a style for this comic. This is extremely close to what I've had in mind though, so I think I can finally call the style-search done!
I'm really struggling with an online comic delivery method and I'm not sure how to handle updates. I can't release a page at a time, because that just won't work for a story like this. Boxer Hockey ([link] ) pulls it off wonderfully because there's usually a gag or cliffhanger at the end of each page, but I feel like the "episodes" for my story would definitely have to be more than one page, BUT.....if I do too many pages at a time, I won't update frequently enough for people to keep checking.
decisions, decisions.
If any of you have suggestions or ideas on an update schedule for a more action-y comic, I'd love to hear it!

Dang it. This character should be in the comic... His face reminds me a bit of Captain Linebeck (from Zelda...) and he has the look on his face like "Yeah- I totally just did that." Ha

love the style, just focus on shape, color and sense of movement even though it's standing still. Brilliant can't wait for your comic man

I don't know much about online comic updates or the like, but I think you should go with what your gut tells you. If you feel that a page by page update won't work for telling your story (actually hurting it even) then don't go for that. If you can work that in and it's helping your story movie along nicely then go for it. I'm not one to ask in such a thing, but I figure giving you a few things to think about isn't a bad idea.
As long as your audience knows what days to go check your comic for new updates they'll keep coming back to see your works. Story is what keeps people coming back over all else, not how frequent your updates are, no?
