Description
Beholden to Nobody (But You)I know you can see it as well as I,
Over rastafari-hued Spring valley spry,
English Oak attuned to beloved Sun,
Nature's panthΓ©on in scripted rerun,
Through the crypt of my dreams She preaches,
Along Her meadows adourned love reaches,
Illuminating nave bejewelled spirit,
Where Her altar lays each blessed visit,
That main body of worship approaches,
Deepest Souls searching all Faith broaches,
Within Her aisle of mercy transcribing,
That is the Oak with quelled-boughs inscribing,
She is fresh, She is pure, of gold demure,
The spring recipe and ultimate cure,
Inspirational with outpouring dose,
Flicker-fed April-med to diagnose,
The spread of invigoration is here!
Broadsheet landscape with android hemisphere,
Comprehending terrestrial concerns,
With warm hands Her timely touch now returns,
Her given sensation never forgotten,
Handled with care and delivered often,
Receiving Her whole in mutual yearn -
For the love of Nature, we shall not spurn

I am speechless. What a great graduation of colours! From juicy green to deep orange crowns of trees, and in the end...illuminated clouds. wow
Lovely poem is a beautiful complement of the pic.

The blend of colours make the scene just come alive
Almost as if the life of the light emanating from the tree is being
encapsulated by the surrounding gloom of clouds
- Perfectly fitting for the title of your poem i would say Β

This is one of the loveliest impressions I've had on here, and I shall remember your wonderful words next time I pass this valley and Oak...I'm really chuffed, thank you again!
You feel Nature perfectly, and that is a wonderful thing we can relate to, anywhere!

I enjoy scenes of Nature (and 'everyday' street life of people and places)
Such can be appreciated with the eye when the camera is not always at hand Β

That's so very, very true...and it can be refreshing not to have a camera sometime!
Street life and people are things that are never boring!
