I noticed the same. The face and hands look elderly while the Torso looks youthful. Is there a story behind this?

The woman is a reference painted off an old photo, and she was probably around 50 years old. I didn’t intentionally steer her age in any direction anywhere in the painting. Her face had features that translated like that when i gave it higher contrastvalues than on the rest of the body. Also, the face was more lit than the body, so already there was a higher contrast in that area.
