Description
Digital, Corel PainterMade this for a small contest arranged by swedish gamesite/magazine Gamereactor. The idea was to illustrate a character or an enviroment from the game "The last of us". I went for the fungus-zombie-like mutant called "Clicker", but also tried to add my style/touch to it.
As reference for the body I used a photo from Senshistock here on DA:[link]

As for a "Daniel-Karlsson-Painting" I am missing a bit of something here. I'm thinking of the creepy Goofy you made. Compared to that I think this is rather a 90% image. For itself totally ok, but for a "Karlsson" not the best one.
Maybe it's because I didn't see the original yet, but "she" looks too clean to me. Maybe the rash on her skin isn't placed that well - the subtle eczema on Goofy were much creepier - maybe it's because she isn't decomposing at all. I think the rash definetly needs more work on it.
Although it is a Zombie you drew, the image is lacking that special kind of un-comfort, when you look at it. As I said, especially your Goofy is a picture I just can't keep looking at for too long.
