Description Acrylic on canvas, 81x65cm

Used an old photo of Sharon Tate from "The fearless vampire killers" as a reference. Just found the photo beautiful and atmospheric and wanted to get that onto a canvas.

I'm amazed by how you were able to use such vibrant colors to define the curves and planes of her skin. Truly outstanding....as good as some of the best portraits I've ever seen!

Thanks!
I assure you, it's acrylic. I always coat my acrylic paintings with glossy medium, which increases the contrast and make the colors a bit more vibrant. The smooth blending, which is easier to achieve with oils, is just alot of practice and patience.

That's awesome that you can achieve an effect like that with Acrylic. How long have you been painting ?

I have always been drawing alot, and painting a bit sporadic, but 4 years ago I started dedicating myself to it in a more disciplined way.
