This has seriously been one of my favorite uses of my stock in almost the history of forever. When people ask me to explain how people use my photos I often show them this image because I just adore it that much. It's sad and funny and SO finely crafted. Congrats on the DD!! This isΒ a great and kinda creepy sort of Greenman-esque kind of thing you've done.Β The quality is fantastic.Β Like everyone, though, my eye is unfortunately drawn to his, uh, fungal phallus.Β Hehee.Β I swear I'm a grown-up...Β Anyway, it's kinda funny, but I also find it distracting from all the wonderful detail you put into the rest of the picture.Β Well, in any case, this is awesome!

Hehe... Thank you. Most of my art tend to be like this. Had I not made the shroom-penis, then it would have been a very serious and gloomy piece and therefor a bit predictable and streamlined. That would have been the safe road. I like to mess with peoples preconceptions of beauty/evil whenever I can. Sometimes I put lots of effort into making something really beautiful, just so that I can ruin it with a hint of something corrupt. Then again, I'll also paint the most hideous monster, just to give it a cute pink bow on top of it's head. I like to "disarm" preconceptions of value and moral and not leave it to one-sided.
