Well that's some nice picture of the Egyptian god alright. Like the use of more rich colors than what was available during the time of Egyptian monarchs.

Thanks! Β You'd actually be surprised... I was at the Metropolitan a couple of weeks ago, and they had some pretty rich pigmentation, especially in the sarcophagi.

It's their burial caskets (plural- a single would be a sarcophagus). Β They're really intricate and one will usually consist of several nested inside each other, and each tell's the story of the man or woman buried within.

Yeah, there's lots of gods to draw. Thoth always seems so awkward to me with his skinny beak and long neck. Bast would be neat too. (I'm always a sucker for cats!)

Bast was definitely on my list to do. Β I totally agree about Thoth... I feel like he would best be done in a cartoony, derpy style. Β He's definitely the "Screech" of the gang, lol.
