Description My half of April's match trade through for .  It's her mage, antlered, barn owl OC, Zaityr.  I was going to do her other character, but I just adore barn owls, and once I had the image pop in my head, it just had to be done.  The light being drawn off the flame is all glittery, and there are glitter gleams all through the feathers as well.

It looks great I'm a sucker for red/grey/black palettes and I love the mystical vibe of the drawing. 

By the way, what kind of paper did you use? I'm thinking about doing one exchange to try it, but I'm not sure what kind of materials would be more suitable.

Wow,  this looks fantastic! I like it how do you used the colors for the owl,  the candle and the red pattern! All fits super together and gives the image a character and emotions. Looks a bit mysterious and mystical! I love this atmosphere! Very good work!
