Well everyone, I haven`t submitted an artwork for quite some time due to having a lot of Uni work. But I have finally managed to get the opportunity to submit one.

Here`s an image of Lilo as an adult, with her own daughter Ani (who looks exactly like Lilo when she was a child) from the anime. Normally my artworks are set within Chris-Dilke`s timeline, but for a change I thought I would do an image set within the timeline of the anime itself. The image is set after the Lilo episode, where Lilo and Ani had a brief reunion with Stitch.

As you can all guess this image is modelled from a scene in the original Lilo & Stitch movie, where Nani consoles Lilo after their fight early on, following Lilo`s bad day in Hula Class. In this image Ani (Lilo`s daughter) has had her own bad day in Hula. As they are both getting ready for bed Lilo is consoling Ani by telling her how she had her own bad days in Hula at her age, and her sad life before meeting Stitch. Also to cheer Ani up, Lilo promises they`ll go back to Japan soon to visit Stitch.

Also as you can see I have designed them both a similar set of pyjamas I designed for Sae and Victoria. I would have actually preferred seeing Lilo (as a child) and Nani in this type of night clothing because I felt that their night clothes where a bit boring and did not stand out that well (Mertle was actually the only human character in the series who had this type of night clothing).

I did a number of colour experimenting with both their pyjamas and it took quite a while before I settled on the colours in this final image. You also might notice that the colour style on Ani`s pyjamas is similar to the style of Mertle`s pyjamas, I chose this style because I liked it best of all. The difference however is that while Mertle`s pyjamas had a series of yellow duck images Ani`s pyjamas has a series of yellow flower images, similar to the white flower images she had on her red dress in the Lilo episode.

Also after some experimenting with the colour of Lilo`s pyjamas I decided to use the same light blue colour I used for Sae`s pyjamas, because I felt it worked better than the other colours I used.

Anyway, I worked very hard on this image and I hope you all like it.
