Well everyone, I have finally found some time to post up a new “Lilo & Stitch” artwork.

I have not made an artwork of Lilo and Victoria for a long time and I am happy to have finally found the time to make one. As I said before, I feel very disappointed about Lilo and Victoria`s friendship not getting much attention in the series. In light of this I have a lot of artworks planned for Lilo and Victoria, reflecting ideas of adventures and other activities they could have together.

In this image Lilo and Victoria are on their way to see a movie they`ve been eager to see for some time. Early on that day the girls were playing at Lilo`s house, when Lilo glanced at her calendar and suddenly remembered about the movie which they had both been desperate to see, but hadn`t had the time due to having to focus on other responsibilities. That day was to be the last day of the movie`s screening, but unfortunately it had already started raining heavily.

As the day progressed the rain got increasingly heavier, making it unlikely for the girls to be able to go to the movies. But Lilo and Victoria, desperate to see the movie on its last day, immediately asked Nani if they could go to the movies. Nani (who was too busy to take the girls) eventually agreed on the condition that they both wore rain slickers and boots, and took umbrellas to avoid getting drenched. Lilo quickly went to her room and found the yellow rain slicker and boots which Jumba gave her in the TV episode “Ploot”. Also, Jumba luckily had a spare set of boots and rain slicker for Victoria, and also handed two umbrellas for the girls.

Now all buttoned and hooded up in their shining rain clothing, and armed with their umbrellas, Lilo and Victoria make their way through the heavy rain to see their most wanted movie.

I feel that Lilo and Victoria look really cute in rain slickers. I therefore wish that Lilo had worn a rain slicker at other points in the series when it was raining, such as the beginning of the episode “Yarpper” when she, Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley were getting prepared to go to Honolulu (and in the episode “Belle” when they go in search for the Night Marchers).

I`ve worked very hard on this image, I completed it months ago but I haven`t had the time to post it up until now. I`m glad to have finally managed to upload it, I feel pleased with how it`s turned out and I hope you all like it.
