Yep I'm still trying to become a penciler... Still trying.Here's a DRAWing by me and digitally painted by me.
Strider 2
One of the best games I ever played, next to earth worm jim that is. But I'm talking about the first game. Haven't played strider 2 yet... I never could find it.

got both games in one when I bought strider 2 recently. and I must say that I like the first one better really. s2 got awesome style but I'd rather play any of the megaman zero games.

thanks for the vote of confidence, I am doing a lot more sketches these days to increase my pencil skills. I'm starting from scratch and getting back to learning more about anatomy and poses. I've got a ton of sketches that I'll post later on, once my website gets redesigned again. I'll start drawing some more scenes and bgs in pencils very soon. Just need a few more years practice at it.

The PS version had both Strider 1 and Strider 2 in it.
Strider 2 was a nice little slashy distraction for a while, a worthy sequel. But, it could get a little tiring for some people, I would assume, but dude, that cut scene art was awe inspiring and fighting mechanics were VERY overhauled in comparison to the first game, it's intuitively easy to slash and climb and evade, while looking good doing so, but that doesn't make the game easy, cuz there were many pitfalls (Some stages were one big hole with lots of platforms, as a matter of fact), bosses were nice and tough, just like bosses should be.
The game has a good bit of replay value as well, you could unlock a secret character and an additional bonus stage in Strider 2, as well as earn new costum colors in Strider. ^^
But, on to your picture's brilliance, I must say, Strider fanart always catches my eye. He's an underrated chara, but that gives us fans of his more adoration of the guy.
This pic is awesome. Strider's right hard to draw, he's a dynamic guy with bold motions, I could never capture that artistically as you have here.

I'm a huge fan of that character. Ever since I played the imported version on Sega Genesis.
What I really loved about the first one was the fact that the each level was mapped out with thought. you would start at the beginning of a flying ship and then end up at the docking level of the ship all the way on the other side.
then from there you'd crash land into the jungle. The story was plotted out very well to where it made sense, it was believable to me. not just one different looking stage after the other.
But anyway, thank you for the comment. I actually didn't really do well with this drawing. The feeling is there, but the anatomy isn't. just something that I have to work on.

Hell, I've played the first Strider game. One of my all time favorites, and it was the japanese version to boot. I had to saw off the chips on each side of my genesis system's insert slot in order to insert the cartridge in.
I haven't played the PS game yet, Never could find it. _-_

Buenos dias, this be the Captain snooping about the galleries! I think it goes without saying that you show an amazing talent. Anatomy, coloring, everything. I'm pretty sure anything I could comment on has already been commented on. But you show a true gift, and I see nothing but a bright future ahead of you in the world of art!
