Description Bad News = My scanner is broken, and I unfortunately have to use a digital camera, which I don't know how to focus, so I apologize for the blurrry, and unclear details in this picture.

So far, it has taken me a good 5 hours so far with colouring. Laurentien coloured pencils used.

Marty McFly = Michael J. Fox
Doctor Emmett L. Brown = Christopher Lloyd

I appreciate comments! Please, give me feedback!

You definately need to finish this. Damn. Great details and shading. I especially like the rays of light coming out of the delorean. Christopher Lloyd's expression is really funny too.

Well, I have definately worked on it a lot since I posted this not-even-half-way-coloured picture... so it looks A LOT better than what you already see. So far, it has taken me a good 18 hours to draw + colour, as of today. So look forward to it's completion! It will be up in October - if I can get my new scanner on time. I am completely obsessed over this trilogy, I have loved it for almost 3 years now. I hope you get that blue delorean! That would be so awesome!! I would get one if I could ever afford it. Thanks for the lovely comment and fave and watch!

How can I even describe how absolutely amazing this is?? I don't think I can!! You have truly mastered colored pencils (Wow, looks like photoshop or something...) and as soon is this is finished, I will definitely fave it!! GORGEOUS detail! Just like the original!!

Did you graph this out when doing it of was it pretty much free hand?? That's so amazing!!

Hmm, at the rate I am going, this will be finished in October! Ha! I am slow, and that's the only thing to it. What you see is five hours worth of colouring over a span of a few days. When colouring, I start out with a really light undercolour. For example. Marty's hat was a very light orange colour, and then I mixed in a variety of other colours (like red, yellow, brown, black) as I gradually pressed harder as I coloured. It has a smooth texture, and after a while it gets all glossy - which I believe is from the wax in the coloured pencils.

And, it is 100% free-hand, 100% eye co-ordination. I think I have only done graphing a few times when I was younger.

I am so glad you like it!! Thankies for the lovely comment.

And I thought the line art was amazing, but now the colouring It looks so perfect! When I saw the middle I thought it was a digital piece!

Wow! Thank you very much!! It is actually far from perfect, but I think it is so far one of the best pictures I have ever drawn. I have been colouring with pencil crayons for my whole life, so I guess that is why it looks like digital. Thankies for the lovely comment and fave!

Far from perfect? I honestly think that it looks even better than the original cover (and of course the original cover is amazing)! You are so talented with pencil crayons

Colored pencils.

You're doing this with colored pencils.

I bow before your coloring greatness. Seriously, the colored parts look almost EXACTLY like my BTTF III novel cover. GREAT job.

Thankies so much for the lovely comment!! I am trying to make it look identical, and of course, that takes a lot of time. Doc still looks a little off, but it is waay to late to change him now. I wouldn't have much luck anyway. And I have actually been using the BTTF Novel cover as the reference for this picture too!!

Doc looks fine, don't worry. Yeah, the only thing that I can say is off is the "Back" at the top, and even that's no biggie, what with the way you've done the characters.

Keep on trucking!
