My first tutorial, hope it can help you
~I tried to make it as simple as I can and easy to understand but I guess I can't explain the steps very well

Well, I use two layers for the shadows, the first shadow that not very dark and the second that darker (both in multiply-mode layers) :] ~ and then I do the shading like anime-style, you can take reference from most anime if you find it dificult to create the shade by yourself

Yes, but I usually use photoshop for the finishing :] ~
If you're gonna buy a tablet try WACOM bamboo or Genius brand :] ~ It's perfect for the first user and the price aren't killing your wallet XD

Since U asked us to ask some questions then heres mine.
What does "Multiply mode" do?

Its function is just like transparent paper, and its perfect for coloring purpose :] ~ for example, you have a 'lineart' layer with black linearts on it, and if you put a color on a new layer in 'multiply mode' , the color will fit perfectly and the black linearts will remain black, but if you place another colors on another new layer with multiply mode, the color will become darker ^ ^
