So I actually took the time to fill out a feedback form (even if you've shown no intention or sign of listening to these) but low and behold, it wouldn't even send. Incredible.
I had to switch to a different browser (from Chrome to Edge) to get it to send. Eclipse really is just... inconvenient.
Please, MAKE A ROADMAP. Show everyone what you're planning to add and roughly when. It will at least reassure people so they know they don't have to keep screaming for x feature.

not everyone uses smartphones. I have never used them and do not need them. I go to the site using my laptop. New design is very interesting for me, but as I see it more for smartphones and tablets hmm

You guys could learn by taking a leaf out of Jagex's book. In the past several years, they have shifted not only their PR but their development strategies to be very responsive and inclusive of user feedback. They are the most transparent digital content company I've ever interacted with. When they get negative feedback on a proposed or beta update, they immediately respond in a way that indicates to their users that they are listening and open to changing something that doesn't work for the community. You have been incorporating some updates which people have asked for, but for the biggest issues (migraine health problems for many users, page customization and pagination are the three biggest ones I see here regularly), you have not indicated at all whether you are putting any time into addressing these major concerns. I can't imagine Runescape's developers remaining totally silent like this on health issues for players or redesigns which reduce functionality of the website so drastically. We would really go easier on you guys if you gave us an idea of which long-term ideas you're actually working on. (Though why addressing health issues didn't become an urgent concern and get fixed right away after months of feedback and user-created solutions coming out still baffles me.)
Right now you're missing out on a lot of potentially constructive and insightful feedback from long-time users like myself who cannot use Eclipse because of our migraines or sensory processing issues. I worry you will wait so long to fix it that there will not be much time left for us to leave our feedback on other issues once we can actually use the damn thing. For the love of all that is holy, please just fix the goddamn COLOURS!

You are presuming they have a clue about what the final product they're attempting to build will look like. Eclipse is starting to look like a garage kit bash model, where the instructions were destroyed when someone spilled a coke on them.

Feedback page is absolutely awful! I can't understand why I have to wait so long to just remove one notification? When I get over a hundred faves, it takes forever to remove them all! Or is there a way to delete them in bulk?
Also, can someone please help me? I wanted to feature some pictures in a Journal but couldn't find thumbs on a deviation's page. So how do I paste pictures?

It still doesn't change the fact that half the users don't want this because of how bad it looks. You can't even customize your page on Eclipse so there goes that feature.

That's not entirely an unreasonable idea. But let me take a moment to show you the other side of that debate.
Why should not be able to discover an artist who for any number of reasons might just have been the original inspiration for the art that you admire from the artist who is active? Shakespeare didn't deteriorate because he hasn't written anything in the last 400 years. Van Gogh's are even more prized today 200 years later than during his life. There are countless other artists that may be similar to what you currently enjoy, but may have stopped drawing just a day outside your arbitrary cut off.
It's still a reasonable request, as an add on option. But you miss a lot when you only think of today and forget about how you got there. The key here is how does "Discovery" pick an artist you could potentially be interested in. If it's based just on "likes" or "views" it's worthless. If it's based on similar theme / interest, then age really shouldn't matter save making you regret they can no longer add new works.

If I want to see inspiring older art I would browse the best of all time.
I guess I went into the feature hoping to find deviants to watch. As it stands now I probably wouldn't touch it again. Some iptions would be great

Ah yes, we totally need to have popular artists recommended to us instead of people with common interests and / or younger but hard trying artists! That will make everyone happy by making the popular EVEN MORE popular, and the new artists flee as they receive no feedback whatsoever!
I swear you devs aren't even listening. The community keeps giving feedback on why Eclipse, as it's being presented now, isn't functional or even wanted and you're just ignoring every single negative review in a "LALALALA LOOK AT HOW COOL THIS IS WE CAN'T HEAR YOU KIDS OVER HOW AWESOME ECLIPSE IS!!".
You're going to lose a lot of deviants and customers once the update rolls out and becomes permanent, and you're going to deserve every little bit of money lost.
A website like this thrives on a strong community, and if you ignore the community, you're going to go down in flames.
