Yep, I tried muted tags, but there is still a problem : a lot of porn and fetish art is not tagged at all.

Oh really? Maybe that could be another suggestion for Eclipse, mandatory tags for mature content. Perhaps in theory but I on't know if that would work, just an idea.

i mean, it's already "mandatory" for them to be filtered and yet they mostly aren't. none of this matters unless they are actually going to start paying attention to their own rules (highly unlikely) and, honestly...who's going to go through their awful reporting system to bring every piece of art on the front page to their attention?

Blocking tags is an excellent feature that should have been implemented a while ago. One problem I'm immediately noticing is that many images are not tagged at all. Perhaps there could be some community tagging in the future?

It appears to me that you are putting in a lot of work on the pretties, and nothing on the tools. I do not want your suggestions on who to watch, I do not want you to suggest to me things to look at. I want a clean, efficient UI with the proper tools to manage my gallery, with the least possible clicks. I do not want it jumping back to the beginning and having to click through again and again. I want a site that works for the artist, not one that simply eats bandwidth like a black hole and does nothing for the serious artist. You are not improving, you are making it worse.

I’ve wanted momething like muted tags for a long time 9and even suggested it once) but, can it also be done on searches? E.g. can i search for #socks !#photography or something? Actually, #socks !#photography !#mature
I'll go and see if my stories are readable in Eclipse now, with the new colours...

When I heard Sam hissing I went quiet. He was shushing me. Oh. Some distance away they were discussing our fate.

“Ooooh the poker!” - but at least the background colour and foreground colour from the theme are honoured now. Before i was getting white text on a cream background.

Honestly if you just added HTML people would be so much happier and probably complain a lot less, it’s a big reason a lot of people are on this site.
While there may be things you can do with eclipse custom boxes you are planning you won’t have that personalised look that people loved? I do like some of the features you’re adding though, and can’t wait for this green theme I heard mentioned

That is till now the only one good thing you brought in!
BUT I still have some things that have to be solved before I accept eclipse.
-Eclipse is still (even after more than a half year) glitchy and buggy as hell and just a few of the bugs I send them via feedback are solved.
-the endless scroll makes everything load too slow and sometimes forces my browser to reload what kicks me back to the beginning,
-the previews for group and watch notifications are too big what makes everything chunky and I have to sidescroll too much.
-overall android look that makes me think they try to make this as a replacement for the app what makes me as PC user sick not only because of the optic but also because it seems they try to be new and fresh instead of looking what the users really want (a working website with less pedophiles, fetishs and porn (or in case of the last two at least forced tags or some consequences for those who don't use tags)
-still not the wonderful soft mint deviant art green that is not hurting my eyes by blinding them (light theme) or overworking them (dark theme)
-confusing and unclear notifications and profile. Where is the good old "everything on one page" ? Now I have to go through a thousand tabs to see if there is something interesting new or to find in the profile what I am actually searching for.
Please solve these problems before you force DA down our throat or not only me but many others will leave DA and many of them are good paying core members.

I know how to report bugs and my reported bugs weren't solved.
Also yeah I know that green style already. The problem is that I wished that from the staff to be standart not as thing I have to use third party shit. I don't know how much of my internet activity is watched by that third party program.
I could have said much more problems that I see but I kept it with the things that I think have to be done so that not at least 1/3 of actual DA members (many of them core members) would leave. I wanted to make positive critic and not just whine around. And I do it here since I have the feeling the not positive posts in the feedback function are ignored...
You don't need to try to tell me what to do because I know exactly what I want and that is an easy and userfriendly page and not some "try to be cool but buggy as hell" page.

The option to turn off infinite scrolling would be reeeeeeaaaally nice right about now. I can select "click through pages" but it doesn't actually work.
Also, something I just posted on the previous update before this came up, so I should probably say it again:
Why can't I see the description of each Deviation in my group notifications? I don't want a grid that reshuffles itself and changes size when I delete something, I want to be able to casually click the X button and have the next one move up into exactly the same position.
Reading the description of something that's marked Mature can give me a hint as to whether or not I want to click on it. Removing the option for the full view which shows the description, is just annoying.

nice to hear. i knew i read something about it! Really can't wait! That was one of the few things that i wanted for Eclipse. Life notifcations can wait for me. But i know i just want to be able to add preview images again for stories is a must for me.

As much as I love muted tags, the Infinite Scrollbar and removal of Sta.sh Writer still have me dreading this change.
I don't even understand that latter one... was the existence of Sta.sh Writer somehow draining the site's resources? Why remove that? It makes no sense to me XD.

Another Custom boxes note:
Even if you have a deviation be left or right align with wrap around text it appears that the image still displays over the full size of the custom box.
