Description
So here is the concept art I did of Kaynar. I actually had to add the polearm in the last minute for presentation, so the hands aren't meant to be holding the weapon. You can see the original on the right. The danger of Kaynar design wise was that he looked to close to many other werewolf type characters if you look at his silhouette. So I added the horn on the shoulder to break him out of the box. This also represents his predatorial nature to hunt larger animals.Related content

I really liked what you did with the Mutants in this series, er, Mumm-Ra's Generals lol (I know they're not called Mutants anymore & get why that is, but its still strange not to call them that lol). While I still love the original Jackalman, I will confess the 2011 version is quite the badass, and creepy as hell to boot! He plays the role of team psycho very well, gives him a definitive niche to fill on the bad guy team, his whole design screams crazy & dangerous, very well done :3
P.S. why were the names of all the baddie generals except Slithe changed?

Ah I LOVE what you guys did with the Jackalman in the reboot of this show! His design is great, and his personality was just perfect for his role. Definitely one of my top favorite baddies in animation!

I always thought Jackalman was such a corny character in the original Thundercats, but this new one? I'm intimidated and intrigued at the same time. Big bonus that they actually gave him a name this time. Insane villains are always looked highly upon ^^

Kaynar did not disappoint! He was funny, scary, and amazing! I love this Jackalman. Delightfully mad as a hatter!

In the old show he was a joke. Here they made him bad ass and insane like Hannibal Lector or The Joker! And he managed to kick both Tigra and Cheetara's butts easy. He could even sniff out Tigra when he was invisible! He really earned the title General Kaynar!
