I apologize for being SUPER late in discovering your work. You, sir, have a GIFT. Sorry again if youβve beaten me to the punch, but I would LOVE to see your take on the other first generation Spaceknights like Hammerhand, Javelin, Rainbow, etc. I love all the ROM stories and have every issue from my childhood, but I was never a fan of the designs for the Squadron, the Ditko Spaceknights, or the Starlin/Batista stuff. On a related note, Iβm loving all your stuff, particularly the obscure characters. They need love too! Thanks for sharing your talents!

by the way Dann I like how you added that non-descript spaceknight in the back ground that's a nice touch. it helps keep things visually interesting here by stirringΒ the viewer'sΒ imagination.

Glad you like it. That "non-descript spaceknight in the back ground" is a real spaceknight. He showed up in a flashback in issue 4 I think. He was only in 1 panel, but I liked the way he looked and wanted to use him.

i just had a look at issue 4 and the one panel that had some other spaceknights didn't feature one that resembles your here. but i think i have seen a similar spaceknight in other issues but i gotta research that one in my collection when i have more time. by the way i was able to get some time at home today so i added a preview image of this piece to today's posting.Β

issues 13,25,26,27 and 28 all have a nameless spaceknight/s that fit the description of yours here. the most notable of the bunch is in 28 where he actually has a bit of dialogue.Β
