They kinda did...in the latest Avengers, there's a one panel shot of ROM and a few Spaceknights. Not sure where that story's going tho.

It's really weird and nerdy.Β It's, like, Parker Brothers owns the name "Rom" and his likeness and Marvel owns -everything- else.Β So you've got Marvel now essentially giving up on the idea of "Rom" coming back and just flat out including the villains in their universe proper and PB just reflexively renewing the copyright.
