Done on 11in x 14in Strathmore Bristol Board with Prismacolor ink and color markers.

It's well drawn, and I think it's more interesting you cast against type, especially since the personalities can't match up exactly (Archie's no nerd!). You might as well go with their looks.

Thanks, kiteruiner! Sure, Achie isn't a nerd per-say, nor is he too "cool-for-school." It could be a toss up the jock or the brain, however I thought Reggie would be a better fit for the brawn. And Jughead had to be Judge Nelson because I knew it would be funny. Thanks again for taking time out of your day to leave a comment.

awesome, but i think betty would be the alley sheety character. i understand you probably went with the opposite due to hair color. this is still great!

Yeah, in the rough stage of the drawing they were switched places, and I still am unsure which one was right. But, I though black hair, black on black would look better. Also, originally, Betty wasn't going to be in the art. You see, she is in the Molly Ringwald pose. Of course, the actress is a redhead, and in the "Archie universe" there is a redhead, "Cheryl Blossom." Though, I switched them out because Betty is more well known.
