Description
I really like this guy! I can't seem to draw S. aegyptiacus in a way that satisfies me and conveys the scale of the big guy, but B. walkeri is a very fun, very interesting subject. Really worked on perfecting that whole grizzly-bear look and feel that Baryonyx really conveys to me.This male Baryonyx walks off, without a fish, but with several new scars. The two larger females bullied this guy off their end of the lake, their large sharp claws tearing his snout and flank. As I said in a previous piece, I've seen Grizzlys at Katmai bearing wounds much like the one on this male's leg, competing for salmon on the falls. I can easily imagine an animal like Baryonyx dueling with members of its own species.
Enjoy!

I don't see Baryonyx as being the most lithe of animals, but eh. Glad you like it though!
