I really like the contrast of the stark lines of the model against the hazy and soft background. His muscle definition and structure was captured beautifully. Another thing I like is how the skin tone of the model is very similar to that of the grass below him. One thing that I wish you did was show the model's face or given more of a hint to what his expression was during the move. When you see the expression of a dancer, that contributes a lot to the scene. I do, however, really think that the composition of the photo is very crisp and clear, and that by placing such a modern looking model in a more rural and outdoorsy setting provides an excellent amount of impact in the scene. It's very clear what you were looking for in a shot, and you achieved it masterfully. The pose is quite interesting, and it makes him look as if he's trying to escape the force of gravity, yet he's still being pulled down. A wonderful photograph all around.

@MizzMAB - I agree with your well written critique, especially about the gravity. I didn't take notice of not seeing a face however and I now wonder what kind of expression would fit a situation of trying to unsuccessfully escape the force of gravity while taking flight.

The background looks like a spiderweb, and he looks like he's caught in it. Quite a beautiful composition. Bravo!
