Larger size (1600 x 1200) available via download.Ok, first off, I know two women named Michelle who are both girlfriends of people I'm close to, so for the record, this is a character from American Dad, NOT one of those two previously mentioned women
I do not regularly watch American Dad, but given its time slot, I do occasionally watch it and I've enjoyed some of the episodes. One episode I wound up watching recently was this years Christmas episode, and it had a character named Michelle who I found quite amusing and cute.
Another reason this image exists is because I've decided I need daily practice with both digital and non-digital art IN ADDITION to my comic. It's really easy to lapse and get out of practice, and it's obvious the instant I pick up the pen if that's the case (as it was earlier today).
I feel like my groove is back in place after making this, and I also feel better about my flat coloring style. This still has plenty of strong black shadows, but they're subtle while still adding bits of depth. Huzzah!
Oh, and that photo of the sky was one I took myself. I have several hundred photos I've taken of the sky saved for just such occasions.

Great job on the coloring. Very crisp, and the lines are nice and sharp. Would be a good lineart to color in.

First comment! I've only literally seen two or three episodes of American Dad, and as such have no idea who this is. Still, the lineart's good, the colour palette is well-chosen, and the minimal shading is nice.
